TRANSLOAD FACILITY PROJECT
As of January 2010, STERA is awaiting a funding decision from US DOT for TIGER funds that would allow STERA to undertake both ongoing rail line rehabilitation activities and first phase funding of the transload facility construction project.  If US DOT awards STERA TIGER funds, STERA will procure engineering consulting services, undertake environmental analysis, secure site control, undertake final engineering/design, and begin construction.
